   The English Teachers Association of Andalusia announces the celebration of its XXVII Curso Anual para la Enseñanza del Inglés (GRETA Annual Conference), which will take place at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, University of Granada on 17^th, 18^thand 19^th of  October 2013.

   The present edition will mainly focus on how we try to provide our students with a real life tool that will eventually help them develop different life and professional skills in whatever field, educational or personal context they may carry out their activities; how we adapt our teaching to those needs and the importance of such adaptability in different teaching contexts such as Vocational Training Courses and ESP, training for content teachers in Bilingual programs at the EOIs and the appropriateness of CLIL methodology for developing basic skills in Primary and Secondary, for instance. Therefore, the basic concept underlining this conference will orbit around what strategies to use to reach the goal of making our teaching meaningful and successful in that sense. The contents of our sessions will be organised in four main lines of work: 

• ·        Developing students skills successfully in the XXI Century: Practical examples of effective teaching and classroom management, use of new technologies and task based learning.
• ·         Pragmatic proposals for the Infant, Primary and Secondary Classroom.
• ·         English for Specific Purposes in Vocational Training Courses.
• ·         CLIL Methodology in Bilingual Programmes, ELT and Content teaching, tailor-made courses for specific teacher training needs.
